I chose NIMHANS because it is the best institute as well as a hospital in India, which gives very good treatment for people with different kinds of mental problems. From my experience, suffering from mental problems like depression, anxiety, trauma in childhood, etc., are much worse than any other physical injury. It is very difficult to make others understand the pain we are undergoing inside. <br/><br/>I am undergoing treatment and therapy sessions at NIMHANS for a kind of depression which I have been suffering since years now. The doctors and counsellors here, are well qualified professionals who have diagnosed my problems correctly and are helping me to cope up with it. As it is a Government hospital, the treatment fees are also very less and free for poor people. <br/> <br/>I was amazed to see people, with severe mental and neurological problems, come here for treatment from all parts of India. Today I have changed my attitude towards life and have become a much stronger person. Thanks to NIMHANS for bringing this change in me. :)<br/><br/>Well the only drawback is that, it has only one campus in Bangalore which makes it difficult for needy people to access it. I actually want to give a 4.5 star rating. Due to lack of such an option, I must settle with a 4!!
