Today's generation thoughts are confined to gizno gadgets , vehicle crazy and night life . How many of them would prefer to spend time doing what they are passionate to do ? Will that serve any of our purposes ? The word passion simply means an intense emotion , a compelling enthusiasm or desire of something . What all can be termed under passion ? Dancing , singing, sketching!! Here is a different passion what am trying to speak about . Yes , am speaking about my better half who is soo passionate about practicing paurohitya , without expecting rewards of any kind . A youngster by name Nuthan , born and brought up in Mysore presently living in Pune past 6 years is working in a private sector who is degree holder in professional course. He was very much interested in the rituals and practices that used to take place at home in all festivals and other celebrations since childhood . Practicing of daily rituals like sandyavandana right from younger age helped reinforce his passion and provided ways to enforce them . Soon after completion of education in the early days of career , he spent his weekends trying to understand the different traditional practices carried out , the purpose of following of those in a strict way and outcomes of those as well. Having learnt all these , he decided to share this information among his near ones so that the benefit is taken by everyone . Currently he practices paurohitya , able to perform rituals , homas for different occasions like gruhapravesha etc since 5 years . He is a strict follower of traditions which includes long durations of fasting prior to homa. The keen interest in his passion makes him all enthusiastic in spending weekends for preparation and performing homas very oftenly . Every little work related to the homa or Pooja would be done by him such as gathering all Pooja samagri like Navagraha sticks etc. His fondness towards all these is soo well that he not only performs homa but also provide the sense and significance of such practices on the life styles of an individual . Original Indian purohitha dedicatedd to serve without any expectations or rewards . There are 2 ways of carrying out task or work , Of which one would be out of dedication and the other would be due to the reward it pays in form of money , name or game .The practice would not be done just for name sake or to finish things in a hurry how it is usually taking place in today s situation . It is not condemning anyone by proving them wrong , situation might induce such changes which may be inevitable but by doing such practices is the purpose served ? This is point what everyone should make a note of . I am sharing this information in a view to increase the amount of interests and respects in following a traditional ritual and haa no intentions of advertising or betrayal of others practices . (..........) All these are known by our family and friends . Our known friends who was a part of these rituals appreciated him for his skilfulness . By noticing the zeal and interests , his friends are volunteering themselves to help him do all the preparations related to the practice . With all these habits of his , the tea time conversations in the friends group has now set of stage for sharing thoughts about all these practices , cultures and rituals . He is been praised for his works and has never rejected or missed opportunity of carrying out homa or Pooja for any odd reasons .
