It is recognized by UGC, Ministry of HRD & Distance Education Council (DEC). It’s a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). SMU Pusa Road is an exclusive university center of Sikkim Manipal University (SMU). Currently, it has over 1800, and increasing, students on its rolls.
