Where do I begin? My nightmare at H N Reliance Foundation hospital unfolded on April 8th. As little said about this hopeless hospital the better. However this does not mean that I will not warn others about the horror that awaits inside and fulfil my moral responsibility. Having lost my grandmother there, it means everything to me to expose them. I gather strength as I go down my memory lane. My family has been victimized. The Drs, nurses there are heartless and the treatment is pathetic, much below standards. The only thing we could do is watch helplessly as our loved one passed away due to medical malpractice, misdiagnosis, extremely Poor hygiene standards and multitude of hospital infections. Our lives came to a complete standstill as we lost her. We should have never taken her to Reliance Foundation hospital. Please please stay away from this hospital for the sake of your loved ones. You will be left in utter grief and despair mourning the loss of your near and dear one.

This Mother's Day I take it upon me to expose Reliance Foundation Hospital. RFH is host to drug-resistant pathogens, Candida Auris ,Candida Tropicalis, Enterococcus Faecium, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, Streptococcus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Candida Albicans, Stenotrophomonas and more that can kill patients. Drug-resistant Candida Auris invaded my mom's urine, bloodstream, trachea, and finally her brain. My Mom kept fighting the drug-resistant pathogens that kept invading her. But rather than getting better and to what seemed like an endless spiral my ordeal ended in losing my Mom. I cannot stress enough "Drug resistant deadly pathogens- engulfing patients admitted in the hospital causing their deaths equate to medical negligence" It is the patient's right to know about risks involved in getting admitted to RFH. Not disclosing, not reporting drug resistant deadly pathogens is a Crime as it results in loss of lives. Please do not take your loved one to RFH. It will leave you hurtful,grieving

I miss you Moti Mummy (Your Ammu) I wish my parents never took my grandmother to H N Reliance Foundation Hospital. I lost my Moti Mummy who I love the most in the world. She passed away due to invasive candidemia & septicemic shock. Candida Auris, a drug-resistant strain of fungus, prevalent in Reliance Foundation Hospital causes severe infections in patients & raises mortaloty risk. Reliance Foundation hospital maintains deliberate silence about these life threatening infections inside their facility (since they don?t want patients to boycott their premises) How could I have saved my grandmother? I wish we knew of prevalence of the magnitude of infections at Reliance Foundation Hospital. I wish my parents never took her to Reliance Foundation Hospital. Please do not take your loved ones there if you want to keep them safe and keep them alive.

Candida Auris, a drug-resistant strain of fungus, causes severe skin and invasive blood stream infections in patients, and raises the mortality risk of patients who are already battling another ailment. More than 1 in 3 patients with invasive C. auris infection die even as Reliance Foundation Hospital maintains a studied silence over such outbreaks in their facility.The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) notified the fungus in 2017 and issued an advisory while mandating all hospitals to report its occurrence.But is Reliance Foundation Hospital reporting or doing anything about these deadly infections within the building engulfing patients admitted there?Sadly not enough

Reliance Foundation Hospital is The Infections Hospital. It does not report the prevalence of drug resistant deadly pathogens- Candida which causes life threatening infections in patients. There are no state regulations mandating Mumbai hospitals to report nosocomial infections due to deadly pathogens which are hospital-acquired & associated deaths. Healthcare Associated Infections HAI?s are one of the most common, adverse events in healthcare facilities & a major public health problem with an impact on morbidity, mortality & quality of life. National Guidelines for Infection Prevention Control in Healthcare Facilities, as well as the National Action Plan on Antimicrobial Resistance (NAP-AMR), National Patient Safety Implementation Framework (2018-2025) & the National Guidelines for National Patient Safety Implementation Framework identify Infections Prevention & Control as a priority but Reliance Foundation Hospital refrains from reporting Hospital Acquired Infections at its facility.
