The company was founded in 1986 as Target Computer Corporation and later incorporated as Target Computer Computers Limited. We in our new avatar today as, “Target Computer .” are today among the three largest Information and Communication Technology (I.C.T.) distributors in India. Our Network   With a Pan India presence and over two decades of expertise in Distribution,Target Computer offers its Vendors access to more than 7000 Channel Partners, Retailers, Corporate Resellers, VARs & System Integrators. Efficient systems and processes, coupled with a strong receivables management (which works on Post-dated cheques collected from the channel) along with a good product portfolio are our key differentiators, in an industry characterised by low entry barriers. Key to our healthy bottom line and ROE is a sound vendor relationship based on precise demand forecasts coupled with an efficient inventory and receivables management system. Adding to this endeavour is a highly motivated Sales force, which is incentivised on gross margins. Core Competence Our core competencies in distribution are, better Logistics, efficiently monitored Inventory management, flexible credit financing for dealers, a national channel reach and an excellent reseller account management system. A balanced growth over the years, supported by a constant expansion of product portfolio and delivery footprint, has helped us tide over segmental market slowdowns.
