The Grand Sweets and Snacks was founded in 1982 by Mr. G. Natarajan, a first generation entrepreneur, who after a series of business setbacks, started this food business in a small way at Gandhi Nagar, Adyar in Chennai. by capitalizing his wife Bangaruamma's culinary skill, dipped into her personal recipies and started making and selling the generic snacks, traditionally made by the old ladies of the house - the sweet Mysore pak and laddoo as well as the crunchy, savoury 'mixture'. The marketing had a personalized touch the elderly Brahmin would hand out religious booklets to bigger customers. As the business grew, he hired more staff, mostly women, and expanded the variety of foods on offer.

irresponsible reply from cash counter. I went purchase snacks for Rs.165/ on 17.08.16 evening 7.18 pm. My token number was 727. I have given my credit card for payment. They have swiped for Rs.765/- instead of Rs.165/-. After reached home I have seen my SMS stating that Rs.765/- was debited. Immediately I have contacted Anna Nagar Grand Sweets where I have gone for purchase. They have asked me to come to their shop. Today morning when I have visited they told that one madam who is looking after the accounts will come after 10 am, So they told me to come in the evening to meet that madam. Again when I have visited in the evening simply they are telling that madam is on leave today. Is it the way of reply to the customer. How many times I can visit to get back my money. Irresponsible reply I have received from the cashier. I am the regular customer of your shop. Kindly look into it and do the needful
