the rich aroma of coffee pulls you from a distance. known specially for its south indian dishes, it offers the best of dosas , especially the rava sada dosa. really tasty and crisp dosa served with typical south indian coconut chutney , i used to compete with my sister over dosas over here.we could have 2-3 at a time:). and the best speciality is the fliter coffee served here ,you must try it. served in typical small steel vati and glass,it tastes too good. :)

though i'm not much fond of south indian food, i had to be to this place with a few friends as couldnt find any option... but the time i left the place i was a fan of south indian food... had called for a mysore dosa which was a little redish orangish in color and tasted mindblowing... even tried the mendu wada frm my friend's plate and just couldnt avoid eating it all...

When you are in Cafe madras, dont look at the prices in the menu, cause you can eat to your full and the bill can never exceed a few hundreds.Their quality is well maintained and still the same for the last so many decades. even a simple dish like pongal served with avail tastes amazing. Their tuppa dosa, appams with avial, pineapple shira, bisi beli bhaat, rasam vada all have an amazing taste. Now you can also buy banana, tapioca chips, coffee and other snacks from the counter.
