Welcome to Calcutta Ladies Lodge, a premium paying guest accommodation in Kolkata, which is meant for girl students & working ladies only. This is, perhaps, the only P. G. accommodation in Kolkata which is guarded by well trained professional women security guards round-the-clock in two shifts. House keeping and other jobs are managed by five ( 5 ) experienced women, excluding two ( 2 ) trained & uniformed security guards, supplied by two separate security agency companies. Accounts & other official jobs are alternatively managed by two ( 2 ) men, both being senior citizens. For furthering security measures, close circuit cameras will be installed very soon. The main entrance gate remains open from 6 A.M. to 10 P.M. No male visitor is allowed inside the premises or, to say, in the inmates’ rooms. This rule also applies for the lodge inmates’ fathers, brothers, husbands or local male guardians. Of course, they are allowed access to the reception area and are treated very warmly with due respect. But other male persons, even if known to the inmates, are not allowed to sit or wait at the reception area. Such persons would not even be entertained even if they have any query.
