Moreover, he is heading the Department of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery at PSRI Hospital which is a renowned center for treatment of digestive diseases. He is a graduate of the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College from where he completed his MBBS and MS. He has been trained in advanced laparoscopic GI surgery at GEM Hospital by esteemed Dr C Palanivelu. He has further completed his fellowship in Laparoscopic Bariatric surgery from E –Da Hospital in Kaohsiung, Taiwan under the tutelage of the pioneer bariatric surgeon, Prof C K Huang.
