Isec School of Engineering & Consultancies Pvt. Ltd. was incepted in October 2004 by a group of professionals from varied fields that include medicine, engineering, management and economics came together and conceptualised an idea of theirs, committing themselves to the cause of economic and social independence of the weaker sections in Kerala. While everyone expects education to respond to old and new challenges efficiently, it somehow has failed to deliver all essential ingredients of development in a student. When the higher things in education get overlooked, policy changes within the Educational Institution such as budget-cuts, avoiding the new recruitment of teachers and a growing reliance on contract teachers have compounded the crisis caused by historical neglect, and the quality of education is compromised to an intimidating scale. Resident surveys report the high incidence of dropouts in Engineering Colleges and Polytechnics. While failure on multiple vital counts can be linked to it, we have realised the importance of educational innovation and the need to by subjecting students to • intensive coaching• personalised counselling• having checkpoints at regular intervals• strengthening their soft skills as per the current industry standards• improving self-confidence and employability skills As strides in making possible a lower and hopefully a zero dropout rate and make these students take up the course again and to re-enrol such students and give them extra care in their weak subjects. Through time, ISEC has evolved to become a premier institution with a teaching faculty numbering almost 35 from different engineering colleges to cater to students more than 3000 from a variety of backgrounds in a calendar year. ISEC has grown to become specialised in imparting training and coaching for students of Engineering fraternity operating since 2004 with state of the art infrastructure, experienced faculty, a unique methodology of coaching, with a time-tested and proven system of operation and quality delivery with more than 98% success rate in customised coaching for students.
