The Karnataka State Warehousing Corporation was established during 1957 under the agricultural produce (Development and Warehousing) Corporations Act 1956,later repealed by the Warehousing Corporation Act 1962. The Corporation stated functioning initially with 3 Warehouse centers at Mysore, Hubli and Raichur. At present there are 122 warehouse centers located throughout the state.
