Hi, I wanted to install ubuntu along side windows 7 for my college desktop. I got this computer service contact number from my college office and called him the same day.. Next day, He came and installed ubuntu mate instead of ubuntu 14.04 LTS. I asked him to reinstall the correct version, he tried doing it but he couldn’t, my system ran into trouble it dint boot either to windows or ubuntu. He said he will come next day with correct image file and install it. Next day morning, i called him he dint respond, the whole day i tried calling him but he never bothered to pick my call, he picked up when i called from my friend’s number. He said he has gone to his native and will come next day with image file. He didn’t turn up next day as well, I couldn’t reach him on phone I guess he blocked my number. Finally, my friend formatted the hard disk and installed new windows 7 and ubuntu and I lost my original windows. Beware of him he may sound genuine but not. He is not well trained as well.
