Ltd is not only a company in training technology but also a driving force to the Modi government’s initiative for digital India and skill India. In the current process, training needs are identified during the on-going jobs market place as well as to sharpen the ideas into realistic process where individuals choose from an extensive (and outdated) menu of possible trainings. The process does not effectively validate if the training identified by the individual is in alignment with his/her development needs or with the growth plan of the business. Though there are multiple levels of sign-offs that are included, due diligence regarding development conversations and ensuring targeted training for individual and business growth is limited. The finalized list of trainings created through this process goes on to become the base for all development related activities over the course of the years with decades. Feedback from multiple sources (including employees, participants, unit leadership, HR teams, job seekers, corporate etc.) indicate that there is much that needs to be improved in the training needs analysis process to provide sustainable development in INDIA as well as Overseas.
