Orb is setting new standards in the Indian solar industry. We have uniquely designed solar photovoltaic and solar water heating systems, and we manufacture, sell, install, and service these through our own branch network to better control the customer experience. We service residential and commercial customers, and we work with banks to enable our customers to take solar loans. Orb reaches out to rural markets, and serves the under-privileged who lack access to reliable energy. Orb’s branches are primarily situated in smaller market towns, from which it’s staff press out into the villages to identify customers without reliable access to electricity. We do this in conjunction with banks who are eager to lend to villages for complete electrification – thus creating a solar village.
