Late Guruji Pt. Satya Narayan Singhji had founded an institution known as “SAT SWAR MANDIR” and was the heart and soul of this institution. The institution was renamed after him and is now known as “PT. SATYA NARAYAN SINGH MUSIC ACADEMY”. Guruji had, over the years made sincere efforts to promote and enrich our cultural heritage of Indian Music. Guruji had molded many artists in Indian and Light Classical Music. Guruji Pt. Satya Narayan Singhji’s sons Shyam ,pratap and pradeep have followed the tradition and footsteps of their father. They run the academy and believe that due to the blessing of Late Guruji, the Academy has slowly and steadily progressed as an institution of repute in the music field. Guruji’s eldest son Shyam Narayan Singh, who has been completely trained in all aspects of music, gives his utmost for the well being of his students. Guruji’s younger son Pratap Narayan Singh is an extremely talented Tabla player. He shares his enthusiasm with his many ardent students.Pradip Narayan Singh is the youngest son of Late Pt. Satya Narayan Singh of the Patiala Gharana. Born on October 1, 1966 in Varanasi, Pradip was trained in Vocal music by none other than his father. He has a Visharad in vocal music and has mastered the art of singing Khayal and Thumris.He is endowed with a remarkable asthetic sense and a clear,pliable voice. He also is a composer of light music, such as Bhajans and Ghazals.
