VGN Jewellers Mulund West Mumbai

My wife purchased wedding bangles from the Mulund branch. Used it just once for our wedding and put it away right after. Took it out again recently to use it and found that all the work had corroded. It appears as though the gold has melted and shows signs of decay(fungus, etc.) On bringing it back to the same branch, we were received with skepticism and ridiculed for our curiosity. Having been shot back and forth between equally useless staff, we were handed off to one Ms.Manju who made us feel like fools for ever expecting fair treatment here. She took us to their machine and showed us it is 92% pure as when we purchased it and told us we had no reason to worry. When we explained that we purchased it for use and not just for the gold weight value, they said they don't charge making charges so we should be happy our gold is pure and of the weight purchased. We purchased designed bangles and are left with awful looking handcuffs and are expected to deal with it. Our bangles look nothing like when we purchased them and we can't ever use these in public without our respect and honor being tarnished, all because we made the mistake of purchasing from VGN. Having expressed the same to her, we were scoffed at and met with an attitude that conveyed that it was neither their problem nor of any concern to them. Not only are we left with damage for trusting this brand but, also we have been insulted and embarrassed for seeking resolution with them. No doubt, we will be seeking legal resolution for this instance or bait and switch.
