Established in 1953, our mission at Discovery Montessori is to provide an environment dedicated to the goal of personal development and excellence in education in the Montessori tradition for all children in a safe, home-like environment. Our school is equipped with all new scientifically prepared Montessori instruments for student�s independent learning. The children will be directed by specially trained, dedicated Montessori Teachers. We have small class sizes to provide your child with the best care and education possible. Computers are provided for the children to become familiarized with the basics in addition to other activities. Our goal is to create a balance between the child’s academic, social, emotional, physical, creative and developmental needs. Therefore the classrooms are prepared and the program is structured and designed to take advantage of the child’s sensitive years between 3 and 6, when the child begins to absorb information from an enriched environment.
