A small orchestra, which came together in 1985 with the idea of providing quality and economical entertainment to friends and neighbours is today entertaining the music loving people of Chennai as Gopal Sapthaswaram. As we continued to provide thoughtful, heartfelt and entertaining music, the music lovers continued to patronize us and within a few years, we have grown up as one of the top-entertainers in the city. At present, even with the prevailing highly competitive market conditions, our ability to deliver quality with a thorough understanding of the expectations are standing us in good stead. With the well wishes of the music lovers of Chennai, we have become a leading light music orchestra in the city. Our committment to quality has enabled us to attract several extremely talented musicians who are currently assisting leading music maestros - M.S. Viswanathan, Ilayaraja, A.R.Rahman, Vidyasagar, Deva, S.A.Rajkumar and many of our participating artistes have earned well deserved breaks in the cine music circuit recently. We have performed more than 3500 shows not only in Chennai, but all over India and at Singapore, Malaysia, Sharjah, Dubai, Doha and Bahrain. We have conducted mega shows with leading Playback singers like SPB, S.Janaki, Srinivas, Anuradha Sriram, Harini, S.P.B.Charan, Minmini, Sujatha, Sriram Parthasarathy, Haricharan and others in and outside Chennai.
