Bhalo Basha is a rehabilitation centre established in 2002 by Mr Subhasis Nath, a former addict and its Founding Director, and his wife Smt Sangita Kundu, a Clinical Psychologist and a social worker, under the Proper Outlook Over Life & Society, Behala society. We opened this place in the hopes of providing shelter and love to people suffering from addiction to substance abuse. We follow a structured and interdisciplinary treatment program to help our inmates fight addiction; consisting of detoxification, meditation, expert medical and psychiatric inputs, individual counselling, AA/NA meetings, recreation, follow-up programs, and most importantly family support. We received appreciation from the state government for our work. Our counsellors are experts in their concerning field. We believe that together we can beat this problem.
