I and my family members consulted Dr Dipesh Mondal on several occasions over the past 25 years, and I beg to be excused for being candid. I have always been impressed by , and held great respect for the doctor's excellent clinical sense and sound advice . But, recently we faced problems with the online appointment system. While a specific appointment time was communicated via sms., but (as we discovered) ,in actual practice, a 'first come first served' basis is being insisted upon. This creates much confusion and embarassment and disruption in one's schedule. I do agree that It is entirely the respected physician's prerogative to choose which system to follow. But once a specific time is allotted and the patient and his/her accompanying relative reach on time, it seems to be unfair to expect them to wait for indefinite periods. .Also , the waiting room is rather hot and uncomfortable for neurological patients making long waits quite unpleasant .PROF.PK SENGUPTA, Ph.D.
