Jayasree Prakashan is the sister organisation of Jayasree Patrika, a monthly magazine which was established by Leela Roy, a front ranking revolutionary and a close associate of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Jayasree Prakashan started its journey from the early sixties of last century. Its first publication was a booklet titled ‘Undo this great wrong done to Netaji’ which is the first speech of Prof. Samar Guha at the Lok Sabha. Followed by books titled “Subhas Chandra & National Planning” by Sankari Prosad Basu, “Subhas Chandra - a biography” by Pabitra Kumar Ghosh, “Netaji Through German Lens” and “Subhas Chandra Bose – The British Press, Intelligence and Parliament” by Nanda Mookherjee.Jayasree Prakashan is committed to publish books covering the life, work, movement and ideology of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Anil Roy, Leela Roy and on all Great men and Nationalist freedom fighters. On its journey of publication it has published Speeches & Writings of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose in 6 Volumes, Biography of Revolutionary Leela Roy, Collection of brief biographies on Women in India’s Freedom Movement, Reminiscences of Revolutionary Women viz. Bina Das (Bhaumik), Santisusudha Ghosh, Books of Anil Roy on Critique of Marxism, Hegelian Philosophy, Religion & Science.
